Miss Mustard Seed

February 13, 2012

A quick visit to Miss Mustard Seed and I’m reminded of the beauty of antiques, not to mention the powerful combination of creativity, elbow grease and a fresh coat of paint! Marian owns the antiques and home decor business Mustard Seed Interiors located in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and is all about discovering your home’s potential on a budget, rolling up your sleeves and diving in. Her beautiful home and samples of projects above show just how darn creative and talented she is. I think my favorite thing here is the drapery…that fabric is incredible! For lots more inspiration, head right here!

I too love the drapery fabric! I was lucky enough to find a remnant of it at my favorite fabric store, and have enjoyed sewing it too….smiles

Simply charming. I like that the interiors do not look "decorated."

I'm sure you didn't mean to be insulting but what she does to a piece of furniture isn't exactly just a "fresh coat of paint."

I have a striped chair almost exactly like the one in the top two photos and I want to get some turquoise pillows to go on it! It's a gorgeous room. I follow Miss Mustard Seed too-it's always such an inspiring read!
