Niki Kantor Rubin

November 10, 2011

With a tranquil aqua background and modern, colorful vibe, this chic nursery designed by Niki Kantor Rubin is filled to the brim with inspiration! Niki is actually the owner of Papery & Cakery (how cute is that name?), a stationery studio and blog out of Boca Raton, Florida. But more importantly she is also the new mom to twins Raya and Mason!! She set out to design the nursery in her favorite color (turquoise!) while keeping it as gender neutral as possible. I can’t get over the results! Her favorite thing in the whole nursery are the fantastic portraits of the cuties taken by photographer Shelley Armenio, who also shot these great pics. I couldn’t agree more! But really there are so many details to love here, like the Jonathan Adler pear mirror representing their “pair” of babies, the giant scrabble letters and adorable whale tissue holder from Etsy and the awesome graphic art above the changing table and in the bathroom that Niki designed and printed herself. See how talented she is?? For more from her, definitely check out Papery & Cakery and her inspiring blog! And a million thanks, Niki, for supplying us with the rest of the sources listed below!

AH! I just LOVE this. The dresser turned changing table is so adorable. I have a dresser I'd love to refinish into one, but was wondering if you found it's height to be limiting? I was worried about it being too short – have you had any issues with that? Man I just love your nursery. Jealous. :):)

I absolutely had to comment! I have a Rhaya too, obviously with an 'h' added. It's a very rare name and I get excited when I see another babe with the same name 🙂
