And the tour continues…mouths agape for sure! For me the most striking thing about Cristi’s home is the flooring. Absolutely beyond beautiful. It is actually a reclaimed oak that the couple got from a barn back on the east coast. The brick floor in the mudroom is also reclaimed, found by the builder Hatfield Homes. I’m sure you all noticed the colorful barn wood on the wall in the world’s most adorable mudroom…yeah, that wood came from the farm Cristi grew up on in Idaho. Being a super sentimental person, that’s one her favorite things in the whole house. I would LOVE to do that with the barn wood from my grandparent’s farm…how special!
The living room is just something else. I adore the serene color palette, the mix of patterns going on and the subtle nod to the coast. And how incredible is the piano room?! That floor!!! The ceiling is so cool too. It was actually done by their cabinet guy, Benjamin Blackwelder. Just wait until tomorrow when you see the eye candy he cooked up in the kitchen!
If you missed out on Day One of the tour, check it out here! Like yesterday, these beautiful interior photos were taken by the homeowner Cristi and Jessi Safsten…you can see more of their photography at Hiya Papaya! A lot of the furnishings you see came from designer Lindy Allen and her store Four Chairs Furniture. But if you have any questions about anything, just ask!

This is a home-run. I rarely see interiors that I are just me — no revisions necessary! Lots of soul here. Love the framed daisy on the wall — any chance of knowing its source? We had daisies in our wedding so they are very special to me. Now back to studying these images, so inviting.
Thanks, guys! The framed daisy painting on the wall came from our designer at Four Chairs Furniture – http://www.4-chairs.com
Feel free to ask any more questions and I'll do my best at answering them!
SO happy people are loving the space!
PS … we had daisies at our wedding too!
These dream home tours are amazing. I believe I have very similar taste. Love love love… Please keep sharing.
I second all the comments here. I love everything about this home. I wonder if the same white paint is used throughtout the house? I can't wait to see the kitchen!
Love it! The floors are spectacular and I even love the wood on the walls. Lovely home, thank you for sharing.
I was so excited to see that yesterday's post was "Day 1", and today was "Day 2"!! I hope there is more to come because this house is phenomenal!!! GORGEOUS!! How do you find these gorgeous tourquoise places!?!?!
Gorgeous interior! I like the soft palette and finishes. Also lovely textural rugs, the striped and printed fabrics. Very casual cozy combination of colors! Great post, check out also 3D Rendering
Yes, the same white paint is used throughout the house. It's Benjamin Moore's White Dove 🙂
Cristi, would you mind sharing the floor plan of your spectacular home? It truly is a masterpiece. You, your home builder and designers outdid yourselves!
Actually, the floor plan was custom-designed. We found one that we *kind* of liked, but because our lot is shaped so uniquely (it's really long and narrow), none of the floor plans that we found would really work. So my husband took a floor plan and completely changed it around in Photoshop! If you can believe that! We then sent it to a local architectural engineer (Jon Young) who got it legal and ready for city approval. My husband did such a great job of it that we're actually thinking of having him design floor plans more often. 🙂
Gorgeous home!Thank you so much for sharing! I love every single detail! Would you mind sharing the fabric choices you used on the living room chairs and the source for the cute framed pictures which read – it's better together and Teach Love.
Thanks
Your home is just lovely – thank you so much for sharing! Can't wait to see the kitchen!
xo
WOW I mean seriously WOW! I am loving the rustic and chic mix! I cant wait for tomorrow!!
I could look at this post and drool ALL DAY LONG! xo
I love the living room. Nicely done. Very comfortable and lots of interest.
Wow, wow, wow! Truly, one of the most stunning homes I have ever seen. Perfection in so many ways. I loved all these pics. Great feature, Erin!
Love this home – rug in entry looks familiar and I would love it's source – also the floral chair in great room source?
Awesome taste – I can move right in!
This wonderful "home" just oozes love! franki
What a beautiful home! I love it!
Beautiful!!
@Joy Marie – the framed print Teach Love is from http://www.thewheatfield.etsy.com
I love this home so much…
I love how light and bright everything is! The textures are amazing
Be still my heart!
Okay – let me start answering questions where I left off earlier!
The fabric on the chairs in the living room were custom-chosen by us with our designer Lindy at Four Chairs Furniture. Then she ordered them for us through her store. She's amazing to work with and if you're interested in a particular fabric, she can walk you through it – even if you don't live here locally.

All of the rugs in the home were purchased through Four Chairs Furniture.
Thanks for all the questions. Feel free to keep them coming and I'm so glad you all love the home!
Your home is stunning. Is that sandy/beige colour BM Ashwood all the way through?
Great textures and coloring in all the wood. Love that wood floor.

Love the whole thing. Where did you get the clock? Love, love, love. Can you share your source?
thanks
I look at your blog every day but have never commented. This house has me speechless….WOW! I could pack my bags and move in tomorrow and not change a single thing. Thanks for finding this very inspirational home for us to drool over.
The clock also came through Four Chairs Furniture! Thank you all!!
I agree. The flooring is stunning as well as everything else! Inspirational!
The chest with the circles is gorgeous! Can you share where you got it?
Erin, you are killin' it with these house tours! I have got to stop coveting!
Reclaimed oak floors!! Stunning.
What an inspiring post. I think I will start collecting glass jars..
This home is absolutely stunning! Totally captures the Hamptons (where I used to vacation) meets Hawaii (where I live now) vibe. If I could design my dream home it would be pretty close to this! Great combination of colors, texturs and design elements. Love it!
I'm loving all the wall and ceiling textures!
Oh, this is my dream house. I love every single piece of it. The texture, colors, the furniture… The furniture and accessories are to die for. This makes me want to re-do my entire house. From scratch. Sigh.
Your home is exquisite! I own a boutique in upstate NY and carry the clock and the distressed creame piece of furniture with circles….it was fabulous to show some of my customers them featured in someones home!!!

OMG this IS one of the most beautiful homes yet. They are all yummy, but this one really touched my heart. Can you tell me by chance where those pottery peices that are on a table underneath the big clock. Those are so awesome and love LOVE the colors. Thanks for making my day with a little peice of awesome decor everyday:)
Can you let me know where that gorgeous wallpaper in the piano room is from? And the geometric fabric on the tub chair in the living room? Just lovely colours.
Seriously GORGEOUS!!!! I want to live in this house and I can't wait to see more. I am so glad I stumbled upon your blog…via another blog…via another blog…I was stalking it is true. All your favorite colors are my favorite colors. My absolute fav is Robin's Egg Blue, but Turquoise is a close second…Love your blog!
I am looking for idea's for a house we are moving into. Where did you get the light fixture in the Living room? Love all the pics and your house is amazing!
This is WONDERFUL! Am I the biggest nerd if I say I took a nap today with my baby and woke up dreaming about this house? Because…I did.
My question — I read that Morgan Hatfield helped design the house, but did the house have an original houseplan that you stemmed from? Could you provide the link to it, if there is one? Please please please??
I'm so excited to see the rest of the tour! Thanks House of Turquoise!
OK…nevermind, I just read through all the other commenters and saw that you had a *kind of* floorplan that you used. If there's any way you could post your husband's Photoshop work-up, that would be completely awesome, I (and I think a bajillion others) would love to see it!
Wow. It's stunning… just perfect. From the design, the finishes, the color palette, the personal touches…. I wouldn't change a single thing.
I adore that floor lamp in the living room. Would you mind sharing where you got it?
Let's see if I can answer the questions here:
*"Circles" dresser came from Four Chairs Furniture
*Clock came from Four Chairs Furniture (Stephanie – I LOVE that you own a boutique and carry some of the same pieces that we have here in our home!!)
*Pottery pieces under the clock came from West Elm
*Wallpaper in piano room is Thibaut and we got it through our designer at Four Chairs Furniture
*Floor lamp in the living room (with the four glass balls) came from lampsplus.com
*And dang – I'm trying to remember where we got our living room light fixture. I remember all of the other ones. But this one I'm drawing a blank. I think it might have been Jonathan Adler. I'll double check.
*I'll see if I can get the floor plan mock-up. You guys would actually die because my husband did it so fast in Photoshop. Now he's working shadowing an architectural engineer to learn the program so he can draw up professional house plans "on the side." He's really got a talent for it!
Thanks for all the questions and comments and love! I will try to keep answering as best I can. 🙂
Stunningly beautiful home! What manufacturer/style/color are the sofas? Does your furniture store ship or is it only local?
Oh my gosh – this is the house of my dreams! No wait … I couldn't have dreamed up such amazing touches. I'm totally excited that I also have that gorgeous clock hanging in my house!
Where did the perfect photo of the red bike come from? I can see it hanging over my white fireplace in the summer time. Thanks!!
I love this home!!! Gorgeous 😉 Please tell me the color of the front door ! I have to have it on my home. Thank you so much.
I think I dreamed about this house all night last night 🙂 Me and thousands of other readers I am sure! Thank you so much to the homeowner for her willingness to share all of the fab sources with us!!
Could you tell us where the wallpaper in the front entry came from? The blue vine? spectacular. in every way.
oh my, the music room is amazing…
love the flooring as well..
maureen
What a beautiful, light, airy, breezy home! It's like a breath of fresh air!
It must be a real treat coming home to everyday!
I am interested to know what the brick looking floor is…actual bricks? if so, how? is there a manufacturer you can steer me toward? or are they reclaimed as well?
Thanks so much!
Have a beautiful day!
;-D Kathleen
I thought I recognized that wallpaper as Thibaut! It's called Bentley from the Artisan Collection – and it looks fabulous in your home! Thanks for sharing these beautiful images!
I too am obsessed with the color turquoise… I love the way this house mixes the styles of rustic, modern, shabby sheik, and the soft color palate — Exquisite!
I can't get enough of this house. It's so… PERFECT in every way. I love the colors and mix of textures.
Wow, LOVE! I too would love to know about the bike print/picture, it's adorable! And so cute with that color frame.
Great job!
Popped over from The Inspired Room…this house is luh-shuss-ness 🙂 Inspires me because I love "beachy" colors but am landlocked in Kansas. Would never have guessed this was in Utah. I love that there are a few pops of citron, yellow and red here and there to keep it from feeling too "themey".
Love is in the details – the piano room ceiling – love love love this!!!!
– please please post details about the construction – plaster, tin relief? – I have to know how this was achieved – your home is beautiful – thanks so much for sharing!
You have single handedly ignited a new revolution of decor for me. I am smitten, I am in awe, I MUST copy. 🙂 I will be back…I can not get enough.
Question {I will start small}…where did you find that darling table lamp with the tear drop gems? {I have to admit…it has been texting me all day…I must know}.
LOVE
YOUR
HOME.
Cheers~

Cristi, can you tell me more about the reclaimed oak floors? I'm interested in doing something similar, but I don't know where to start! And the different layouts of the planks in the different rooms is so unique–what is involved in completing designer flooring like this?
My photo " Orange Ride " looks so wonderful in that frame! Thank you! Enjoy. http://www.IntegrityStudio.com
on pintrest the wall paint color is listed as "Hazy Skies" by Benjamin Moore is that correct?
Erin,
Ny husband and I are searching for the right colors for the new "farm". We had all along just thought classic white with a black door. Then it dawned on me today to do a taupey main color with white trim and a turq/bluesy door. We were searching under "exterior paint" on Pinterest and voila, found one of my all time dream fave homes. I had forgotten about this house and we both agreed that this is the inspiration….so, we might just be shifting paint gears. We had said all along we wanted reclaimed wood flooring too, so I'm going to hunt for the right price on those….there's a couple of places in Austin that have them, but it gets pricey.
Thanks as always for such great inspiration!!
MY not ny, lol…..
Using reclaimed wood for furniture and flooring can lead to a unique look. Thanks for sharing your dream home tour.
