Armelle Studio

February 16, 2011

Do you guys remember little Norah’s nursery?? One of my ALL-TIME favorites ever?! The design genius behind it and this gorgeous studio is jewelry designer Caroline of Armelle Jewelry. Schumacher’s Birds and Butterflies wallpaper is a match made in heaven with her stained concrete floor. (Wouldn’t you love to do that in your basement?!) I absolutely adore the white armoire she lovingly painted too, and how the inside is painted Robins Nest by Benjamin Moore to match the floors. Read all about these projects and more over on her blog!

I love the color of the floor and the white armoire. I had hoped to stain the cement floor in my master bedroom but unfortunately when I ripped up the nasty carper I discovered the contractors were very sloppy and they dripped a lot of stuff and there are also too many pit marks.

That wallpaper is just too pretty! It's nice that the wallpaper was applied at only one side of the room. Otherwise, it might look overdone. Have a delightful day, Kellie xx

You've just inspired the creativity in all of us! Looks like Craigslist will be hit hard for pieces to repurpose, like the one in your post! Love it! Wouldn't mind having one myself, when repainted, repurposed, and placed in such a beautiful setting.

Funny, now that you post this I think that post may have been the first time I saw the hoop art (my daughter has the same on her walls currently). Ah, the smallness of the big, big internets.

You did well on putting this together. I did not expect this to find this today. This is a great story.

I’m Erin and I am obsessed with the color turquoise. I started this blog to collect inspirational photos I find of fabulous rooms that feature all of the lovely shades of my favorite color. For even more turquoise, visit my shopping blog Everything Turquoise!
