Guest Blogger: Louise from Table Tonic

November 26, 2010

We recently sold the house that we had busily transformed into a home over the past six years, and this particular room has a special place in my heart, mainly because of the transformation it underwent in the weeks leading up to the sale. The room was the fourth (attic-style) bedroom upstairs, and until this point, it was somewhat bland and uninviting. As soon as we chucked this gorgeous Table Tonic Mexican Suzani (www.tabletonic.com.au) on the bed, the whole room came alive and the tone was set for a palette of cool, dreamy greens, limes and turquoise. Had we stayed a little longer, I could certainly have seen an aqua feature wall on the cards!

Hope you like it and thanks for the honour of being a H.O.T guest blogger!

Wow, how interesting… that's what I like. You can transform any white room in a "rainbow" of color if you 'dress it up" a little. The best way to do it is by adding pillows and in this case, also the linens. So beautiful!

The embroidered throw made by the Otomi Indian women in the Sierra Madre Mts. One of my favorite fabrics and I sell lots of pillows made from this wonderful fabric.

    Terrific post!

The bedspread is lovely, but its on the bed upside down! I had to flip my laptop over to get a better idea of how it looked, it truly is lovely with the animal silhouettes and all …

That bedspread is fantastic and the yellow pop of pillows really makes it!
