Hiya Papaya + Four Chairs Furniture

July 25, 2012

What a treat!! Count me in as one of the many Hiya Papaya photography fans out there!! Cristi and Jessi were responsible for all of the awesome photos for the popular Dream Home Tour from last year, and are back this year with yet another fabulous, fresh home from the Utah Valley Parade of Homes. Like last year’s home, this one was designed by the talented Lindy Allen of Four Chairs Furniture. The builder was Jeremy Ackley of Millhaven Homes, who actually built the home for his family. (From the looks of it, it’s one energetic, happy bunch!) I love the custom cabinetry all throughout the home…so I wasn’t surprised to learn it was all done by Benjamin Blackwelder. Love his work! All in all, it’s everything I love–vibrant color and fun pattern on a neutral background, eye-catching accessorizes and great furniture! You’ll definitely want to tour more of the home over at Hiya Papaya! And for source information, feel free to contact Lindy or visit her Facebook page!

Erin! Today's post is so very inspiring. <3 I love the whimsical ottoman, apple pie recipe canvas {brilliant!}, colorful glass bottles in unique shapes, colorful glass plates on the wall {wish I knew how to do this!}, and small glass tiles. So lovely!

Hiya and 4 Chairs deliver again- fresh, fun and fabulous! They decorated TWO homes in the parade this year- both my favorites. I talked with the designers and they were so friendly and helpful. Many of the pictures I took are on your blog today- it's nice to be in good company! Their store is so much fun to shop in~ I truly loved these homes. I am SOOO tired of beige and brown and sage and colors that weigh you down. I love the energy and excitement of these rooms, yet it's easy to breathe and feel just…good in them! Thanks for the visit!

Erin, thanks so much for posting Lindy's design work here and for featuring builder Jeremy's home that he built for he and his wife Becca and their kids. It's always so exciting when you feature our photography but really, the true work that needs to be celebrated is that of the builders and the interior designer. Lindy of Four Chairs does such an excellent job! I was excited to see someone else point out here in the comments that she designed and decorated two homes in this year's Parade of Homes this year. Hiya Papaya photographed the other home as well so I will have to get those pictures to you also, as soon as we have them ready. We just love you and your blog to pieces over here and are so giddy right now! You're the best! 🙂

After working on such a project I always feel like moving in!! I love the finished product, and appreciate every detailed decision made! I love hiya Papaya (Jessi and Cristi) their work is outstanding and shows off the finished home better than I could ever imagine every time! The owner/builder Millhaven Homes is amazing, talented and awesome to work for. This home was perfectly crafted for a family, designed down to the details of the details by myself, furnished by Four Chairs Furniture (www.4-chairs.com) and absolutely perfected by every craftsman who worked on it. MGS by design did a perfect job on all countertops~ a special thanks to BJ and staff there! I do have source lists so if you have any questions please feel free to ask or email [email protected]. 🙂 THANK YOU ERIN! You are perfect!
