You know it’s going to be a good day when you learn that Designers Guild has new stuff! These photos actually showcase one of their new collections, Around the World, that I learned about from my friends over at Hirshfield’s Color Club. I know it’s not a ton of turquoise, but doesn’t even just littlest bit make any room better?! These are entirely cheery and fun!   6. I so love Tricia Guild's designs! I had slipcovers for my dining chairs made from some of her fabric years ago. I've since sold the chairs, but could not part with the fabric covers. I'm finding ways of using theme elsewhere in the house. ;o)

  7. did you see secrets from a stylist – Emilie Henderson of Oregon who did a fabulous white room, and wonderful turqoise. then she redid it, not as pretty, but nice. Suddenly as if the light went out it seemed grayed. Not that is what happens to turqoise.

    It evokes care free summer time, reading and sitting on a breezy porch or the sunlit bedroom, watching your little daughter play dress up!
