Morgan Harrison Home

September 14, 2010

I first fell in love with Michelle Morgan Harrison Home, a design firm based in New Canaan, CT, when I saw this beach home (last few pictures above) so long ago. I think I can actually credit Michelle for my first taste of the scrumptiousness that is aqua and orange. She recently re-launched her website, and it’s filled with many more fabulous images filled with fabulous color. How stunning is the room with the peacock palette?! I’m especially loving the chair upholstered in Schumacher Chiang Mai Dragon! Lets see it again, it is that great. 😉

Wow, I'm in love with the simplicity of the black and white kitchen…it just needs a tiny little splash of turquoise somewhere ;o)

You're right, turquoise and orange are really nice together…I personally think more of a rusty orange and a nice deeper aqua would be ideal!

Yes, yes, yes!! Turquoise and orange with hits of yellow are the best. I am slowing working towards those in my living room.

The splash of red is brilliant with the turquoise. I would never have thought! How refreshing and vibrant.

My mother's living room was that color combo. Deep aqua carpet (Don & Betty Draper blue) pale aqua shantung sofa with deep orange side chairs. The whole thing was tied together with this gorgeous Shumacher-inspired 🙂 tapestry chair in muted turquoise/oranges/greens and yellows on a cream background. It really worked well together.

OMG, yes, that chair is FABULOUS! I'm loving orange as an accent to turquoise (much moreso than red). LOVE that kitchen! If it were mine, I'd probably never use it, I'd just sit on the floor and gaze around at the loveliness!
