Hold onto your horses, this kitchen is a true standout! Megan of A Life’s Design shared it and another winner of the 2010 Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles Kitchen of the Year Contest. Obviously this beauty designed by Jo Rabaut was MY personal favorite. So much space, ample storage, a dreamy color palette…the stuff dreams are made of! I never knew I needed a butler pantry (or a double trough sink)….but I’d LOVE to have this one! Head over here to read all about this serene kitchen of the year!
Edit: Jo Rabaut was kind enough to provide me with the paint information. The kitchen and laundry wall colors are Sherwin Williams SW 6211 Rainwashed.

Wow, I can see why this is your favorite kitchen — it is mine too. I have a friend who is an interior designer who never does blue in a kitchen cuz she says it's an unappealing color for food. But I totally disagree now!!
Gorgeous – definitely the winner!
So pretty (and HUGE!). If I had a kitchen like that I would definitely need to learn to cook a little better. ๐
I would never get any cooking done in this kitchen I think I would just stand an gaze at it!! Love it!! I posted a couple of pictures of my spa bath on my blog today. Since you love turqouise you might enjoy taking a peek, Kathysue
Stunning!!! I have a blue art wall in my kitchen and I LOVE it…I also have white cabinets so I really like this wonderful kitchen.
I'm picturing myself quite at home in this stunning kitchen. I could fill that pantry in no time! Erin, I linked in one of your finds today, so I welcome you to stop on by. ๐ Have a great day!!!
I'll take it!!
What a gorgeous color choice for cabinets…
LOVE it!
Truly beautiful. I'll take two, please.
Um, yes. I'll take that one. For reals, when I finally do get my dream house, I will show this photo to my hubby and say "make it like this." I just adore it.
Mustang's comment made me laugh. I painted my kitchen blue, seen here http://texas-cottage-garden.blogspot.com/2009/12/kitchen.html
and I've never had a problem finishing a meal in there.lol

I'm movin' on in! ('cause, you know, it's bigger than my downstairs ๐
WOW! Yes please……
OUCH. I'm in pain. That is PERFECT. My own (mostly lame-o) kitchen is painted the same color but with old, awful tile countertops and cheap "wood" cabinets, the rest of it pales in comparison. That kitchen really is dreamy…
I desire this kitchen. So. MUCH.
Great style and colour, I don't know about working in such a massive working triangle though! Getting around it would be a workout and which cupboard did I put the plates in!? You'd have to label them!!!
Wow, this is a gorgeous kitchen! I love how big and spacious it is, definitely how big my dream kitchen would be. And the faucet taps are so cool!
Is it possible to find out what color is used in this amazing kitchen? I just love it and have to have it ๐
Or, where I can find the color?
This was definitely the stand out kitchen from the past AH&L! The hidden pantry door has been seen more often in the Atlanta kitchen design scene – I might have one in our new house, but the kitchen designer is still mulling over the best place for everything!
Aren't these photos beautiful?
Patricia, unfortunately I can't find that information in the resources at all. You could try contacting the designer at rabautdesign.com. It really is such a beautiful shade!
perfection…
xo,

What a lovely kitchen!
I love the dark wooden floor – It matches the color turquoise perfectly combined with the white on the kitchen interior – what a perfect kitchen!!
Im so happy that I found your blog!
By the way, you are welcome to use my turquoise pictures on an upcoming post on your blog ๐
Of course I love it. Today i posted on tulips…and then got to thinking, they seem to come in every color except aqua! Now that would be wild!

Check out this kitchen! It's turquoise to the nth degree.
Oh, how heavenly. What a stunning kitchen. I would just love it (well, who wouldn't?)
WOW i'm speechless what a stunning kitchen ….love love LOVE it ๐
Practically perfect in every way!
Whoaaa Erin, THE Dream Kitchen and well deserved honor! I love everything about this one.
thanks Erin..I appreciate it ๐ I will try that
WOW, I want it. What GREAT pictures, there is nothing I don't like about this kitchen. Talk about perfection, this is it. THANK YOU I now have a dream and another goal…..
Love the white cabinets and the dark floors… but… I think it's, dare I say, too big. No one needs that much cabinetry. I mean, that just means all those drawers and cabinets are full of things that probably never get to be used. I'm much more a fan of smaller, very nicely appointed spaces. I think I might be in the minority, though…
Although I will always love blue of any shade more than anything else, when I saw this kitchen I am turning every shade of green. I would give anything to have a kitchen that big and lovely.
This is a beautiful kitchen! I remember it from the magazine. Thanks for reminding me!
excellent choice! it's pretty amazing and dreamy ๐
Queenplinker, what is the blue you used in your kitchen? It looks great.
…and i'm smitten!{love & love}
What a pretty turquoise shade matched with the off white cabinetry — I missed this one somehow, thanks for pointing it out!
OH my oh my oh my I like this kitchen! sooo much storage, and that butler pantry… my heart is racing…
Its love at first sight
sigh
Thank you for sharing!

This looks very close to Tide Water also by Sherwin Williams. I painted my bedroom this color…very lovely.
I got a sample of this because I saw your pictures but the weird thing is that on my wall it came out a dark greyish blue. Why the difference?
Beautiful. I am painting my laundry room rainwashed. Any chance the designer mentioned the cabinet color? I love how she used that same green on the trim in the butler pantry area.
