I've never seen a home that so perfectly reflects its homeowners! This charming Little Rock, Arkansas cottage designed by Kathryn J. LeMaster is filled with the couple's special belongings and existing furnishings, but the way the talented designer expertly tied them together in a cheery color palette makes it magazine-worthy! I love how the turquoise, coral, and yellow colors flow throughout, but each space has its own distinct look. The custom touches, unique finds, not to mention gorgeous ... View Post

The neatest thing about this beautiful guest bedroom and bathroom designed by Kathryn J. LeMaster Art & Design is what the pictures don't tell you! The Arkansas-based designer successfully combined inherited pieces, the owner’s pieces as well as new pieces to keep the nostalgia alive and bring this home into the 21st century! The bedroom (which used to be the homeowner’s childhood bedroom) features mid-century furniture of her parents and a bedspread that belonged to her grandmother. Her ... View Post

This bathroom by Little Rock, Arkansas interior designer Kathryn J. LeMaster, photographed here by Karen E. Segrave, is both beautiful and functional! Love the great mix of textures with the wood, tile and beadboard...and how they all look with the wall color (Tradewind by Sherwin-Williams). A little bit rustic, but still so serene and pretty! The little room saw a big ... View Post

Like Erin and most of you, I can't get enough of the color turquoise and all of its beautiful variations. Though I've always been drawn to this happy hue, it seems to have snuck up on me in recent years, climbing the charts and becoming my ... View Post
2017 Pantone Color of the Year: Greenery
As I mentioned on Friday, last week the color forecasters at Pantone named Greenery as the 2017 color of the year. I couldn't be happier with the choice! (Well I could, but turquoise was already the color of the year in 2010, and the pretty pink hue Honeysuckle in 2011!) The zesty shade is straight from nature and looks amazing paired with so many colors. Of course my favorite is turquoise–in all its forms! I dug through my archives to find some of my favorite images of the color scheme...for ... View Post
