Never in a million years did I plan to take so much time off from my blog! It’s crazy how a tiny new baby can turn your world upside down. If you follow me on Instagram, you know sweet Rosalie entered our lives on November 21st. I’m telling you it has been a roller coaster ever since! Having a baby in the winter has been the worst (especially in Minnesota…especially with the winter we’ve had this year!) and I am so looking forward to spring. After seeing this gorgeous Raleigh, North Carolina home in Fairview Row designed by Claudia Beck Interiors, I can almost feel it!
I was surprised to learn this stunning home (captured by photographer Smith Hardy) is actually a condo; one of fourteen units in Fairview Row–a collection of three newly-built, historically-inspired condominium buildings in the heart of Hayes Barton neighborhood in Five Points. The homes have all the charm of traditional architecture with the best of modern finishes and layouts.
The interior of this home is decidedly traditional, yet it feels light and bright thanks to the color palette of aqua, mineral green and cream that flows throughout.
Doesn’t the striped fabric on the chairs give this timeless dining room such a fresh look?
The formal living room took my breath away!
I’m loving how the designer incorporated the homeowners’ love of the water with coastal artwork. The perfect complement to the color scheme!
The fretwork in the transoms is such a beautiful detail.
Love everything about this powder bathroom, especially the Thibaut wallpaper!
Oh how I’d love to wake up each morning in this master bedroom painted Benjamin Moore 638 Pure Essence. The French doors had me at hello!
I can just imagine how well this beautiful building blends in with the historical homes in the neighborhood. Absolutely gorgeous! You can read all about Fairview Row and see more photos here! Visit Beacon Street Development for even more inspiring homes and neighborhoods!
My first post back wouldn’t be complete without a few pictures of our new little bundle! Meet Rosalie Mae…
Mirabel and Wesley couldn’t love her any more. It’s now been three months (#timeflies) and they are still just as obsessed with her as the day she came home!
So these three cuties are why I haven’t been blogging…I’ve been seriously exhausted! Now that Rosie is sleeping better at night, I’m hoping to post more regularly. (Especially if she figures out that napping is actually a good thing!) I’ve truly missed sharing beautiful turquoise spaces with you all, not to mention keeping up on social media. Feels so good to be back! 🙂

What a lucky woman to have three great children. Now, go get the stroller and head over to Como and give them a little primate house fun in return for a stroll through the tropical greenery in the Conservatory. It’s so restorative and calming! A perfect place for mid-morning fun with the trio. A relief from the cold and dreary weather.
For those who don’t live in the Twin Cities. the City of St. Paul has a fab small zoo and gorgeous conservatory and japanese gardens. It has no admission but encourages donations, so rather than feeling that you have to make a big day of it to “get your money’s worth” you canfrequently pop in and spend an hour smiling at the animals or soaking up the beauty of the gardens.
Glad you are back. I look forward to your posts and wonderful photos.
