Loftus Design

June 5, 2014

There’s nothing more appealing in the summer than living lakeside! Interior designer Bridget Loftus Gasque of Loftus Design in Charlotte, North Carolina brought the feel of the lake inside in this lovely home! Not only is the home posively relaxing, but it’s filled with awesome budget finds from Target, World Market and HomeGoods! The gorgeous kitchen countertop is even from Ikea! Love the mix of wood and all the pretty paint colors throughout too! You can see more photos taken by Jim Schmid and get source info right over here!

Paint Info
Kitchen, Entry, Porch  – Valspar (Eddie Bauer Collection) Rope #EB48-3
Bedrooms and Bathroom – Farrow & Ball, color: Skylight

I'm not able to find source information on the kitchen counterops. You mention that they are Ikea. I'm wondering if they are wood or laminate, do you happen to know? Thank-you.

Looks like they are Pragel from IKEA and are laminate. The designer mentioned she thinks they are one of the better products of laminate countertops.

This post might be exactly what I have been searching design blogs for! I love the color combos, and the fact that it has a masculine edge I feel like my husband could live with, and enough brighness and whimsy to satisfy me. What a wonderful place! Pinning ever single image.

I love the look of shelves instead of cabinets but I don't know how I'd live with such little storage space.

An attention-grabbing submit. I suppose your reviews are expressive and also founded. Think nearly everybody agreed within this thread.

Where did the coral comforter come from? I have been searching endlessly for one similar and have not had any luck. Thank you!
