WaterColor Beach Home

May 28, 2014

Though mostly neutral, this bright and airy WaterColor, Florida beach home is all sorts of pretty with its splashes of subtle color throughout! I love all of the windows and open floor plan of the main floor, the room feels so spacious, not to mention relaxed and comfortable! The bunk room is really fun too…love the turquoise detail on the bunk bed railings! Lucky for us, this five-bedroom home is available for rent, get all the details on that and see lots more photos of the home here!

My parents have a home in Watercolor. It's my favorite summer trip! That bunk room is so adorable.

Pretty.. but way too stark…it needs accessories to give it some POP! The coffee tables & kitchen are bare. Hardly any artwork on the walls..It really doesn't look 'finished'. If you are going to stage your home for professional photos-get creative… add fresh flowers, books, lamps, photographs-make it looked like someone might actually live there. (*Yes, I hold a design degree-not trying to be critical just an observation).

Anonymous, Considering that it is a rental, I think that a little bit of starkness is appropriate. You don't want it to look like someone lives there, you want it to look like it's ready for you to bring your own favorite books/magazines and enjoy the rental week. A clean look means that you aren't going to have to move lots of decorative "stuff" that's taking up room you may need for your "stuff". Now, that being said, a few plants and/or flowers for the photo shoot, or a table setting, would have made it look more "alive", so I do agree with you to some extent.

Brilliant interior designing and interior furnishing! Nice color combination and interior decoration!

I’m Erin and I am obsessed with the color turquoise. I started this blog to collect inspirational photos I find of fabulous rooms that feature all of the lovely shades of my favorite color. For even more turquoise, visit my shopping blog Everything Turquoise!
