MAC Custom Homes

January 2, 2014

One place I’ve always wanted to visit is Traverse City, Michigan…I hear it’s beautiful there! So I can only imagine what a dream it would be to not only live in the area, but also in this dreamy lakefront cottage by MAC Custom Homes! The attention to detail inside and out is apparent! I love how open and airy it feels but still has defined spaces–the sitting room being my absolute favorite!! The serene color palette is the perfect complement to the amazing view outside! Finish your tour with more photos by Jason Hulet right over here!

Traverse City and the surrounding area is lovely. I've lived here for a couple of decades now and it just keeps getting better. On top of the natural and constructed beauties (such as this house)there are tons of activities all year 'round and AMAZING restaurants, wineries, breweries, arts, sporting activities, etc… The only real negative is lots of snow and cold in the winter, but during the warmer months it is one of the most beautiful places around. (Sorry for the tourist pitch)

An additional note on MAC Custom Homes – I have worked for over a decade in the construction/design field (kitchen/bath design) and I have seen a number of their projects, and have been consistently impressed by their work. If I were in the market to have a new home built they would definitely be my first pick.

p.s. – Autumn is especially beautiful!

Love your blog! Nice, clean and simple design with excellent curation. I'm an instant fan.

Does anyone know the wall and trim paint colors and brand of paint? Also the white cabinets and blue cabinets/kitchen island paint colors and brand? I love this color scheme. So warm and fresh.

    Thank you.
