Vujovich Design Build

This beautiful home built by Vujovich Design Build is located here in Minneapolis and actually belongs to one of my readers! Since building the home last summer, Paula has become obsessed with turquoise and used it as the accent color throughout her new home. I was delighted to learn that my blog was a big inspiration in her decorating, and that she even found some of her turquoise pieces on my shopping blog!

Paula shopped for her home at several places and pulled everything together herself, but did have some help from Beth Malmberg of Vujovich Design Build when it came to picking out tiles, cabinets, paint, etc. Speaking of which, I just love all the colors–the blue in the kitchen cabinets and the striped stair runner are my favorite touches! Love all the built-ins, windows and awesome doors in the living room too! Head here next to tour more great projects from Vujovich, and if you have any questions about sources, just ask! I’ll list the paint colors below! (Thanks to Troy Thies Photography for the great photos!)

Paint Colors (all Benjamin Moore)

Ceilings, Trim and Cabinets – White Dove OC-17
Kitchen/Great Room – Edgecomb Gray HC-173
Kitchen Glass Cabinets – In Your Eyes 715

What a lovely home! She did a great job pulling together all the lovely details. Not to mention all the beautiful architectural details the builder used. Well done! Best, Beth C.

You are an amazing inspiration and this proves it. A makeover from a reader that you inspired. I am not surprised, I'm wondering it didn't happen sooner.

I love the shelving around the flat panel tv. Is this custom-built or can I find those shelves online somewhere?

Turquoise is a beautiful color that can make accents in any room "pop". It's commonly used in homes that are going for an "at the beach" feel since it's a reminder of the ocean and sea glass.

That’s very inspiring! The only thing I’d suggest is to paint the Sloped ceiling in the bathroom with drawItpaint clear whiteboard paint so that guests can express their creative musings on the ceiling, and you can remind them to flush 😀

I’m Erin and I am obsessed with the color turquoise. I started this blog to collect inspirational photos I find of fabulous rooms that feature all of the lovely shades of my favorite color. For even more turquoise, visit my shopping blog Everything Turquoise!
