Vivid Hue Home

June 5, 2012

The philosophy of Heather Grahling, author of the color-loving blog Vivid Hue Home, is have fun with design! She recently completed her fresh and cheery sunroom, filling it with the prettiest blues and greens. I’m not sure what I love most…the Company C rug (the inspiration behind the space) or Benjamin Moore’s Spectra Blue on the walls and ceiling! But what about the fab Oly cocktail table or all the chic Bungalow 5 tables?! Actually I’m loving all of her accessories! What’s especially cool is that she mixed budget pieces from places like HomeGoods (the lamps were only $25!) with more expensive ones. You can see more pics and get all the source info right on over here!

There is snow outside and yet Heather has managed to create a space that tricks you into believing that it is a hot summer day. Now that is a sunroom!

With that much colour in the room most people would have painted the walls and ceiling a pale shade. The bold approach paid off. And that rug – stunning!

I am in love with this room. I just want to go and sit in it. The first thing that hit me about this room was the color of the couch. beige! It totally works though in that room, with all the amazing pops of color. The arm chairs, ugggg, so cute!!! The rug, the chandelier. wow, thanks!

Beautiful! It's so cheery. This is my kind of home! Kudos to the homeowner. 🙂 I love that the photos show us it is grey, cold winter outside—as someone else living in a climate where it is winter for much of the year, I fill my home with colour to keep a cheerful mood. Glad to see I'm not alone. 😉 This house is just lovely!

I just finished painting my bedroom this color! I did one shade darker in my closet-Peacock Blue by Benjamin Moore. I am so loving this color although I was a little wary when it was going on the wall because I was covering up Moire Pink.
