Structures Building Company

May 30, 2012

Sweet southern charm! Structures Building Company, a custom home builder out of Charleston, South Carolina, has an online portfolio entirely worth drooling over. I mean, did you see that first image? That exterior?! How easy it to imagine sitting out on one of those porches, cooled off by the fans and an iced tea! You just don’t see that sort of thing up here in Minnesota and I love it. Just like I love all the interiors! So fresh and relaxed, but totally elegant. And don’t get me started on that porch with the fireplace and blue ceiling! What a dream! Check out more fabulous spaces by this award-winning builder right on over here!

How much time should I allocate for browsing their site? You always delight me with your posts. I would gladly join you on the front porch with some icey lemonade!

Did you notice the Hicks pendant light in the bathroom? It looks like they painted the top white…I am loving that transformation.

when I saw the first image I thought "Savannah" – not too far off! LOL! This is a lovely, lovely house with that lovely, gracious 'southern' feel. You're right – we have a different kind of vibe up here in the North. Probably because the 80 feet of snow you get in Minnesota every year would make short work of that porch!

I love the lanai with the fireplace. Painting the wood slat ceiling turquoise is a perfect way to mimic the sky.

Save a chair and a glass of lemonade for me Erin. Quite interesting the way they have broken up the patio with what looks like thyme.

It looks, from their portfolio, like these images aren't all from the same house, not that it matters.

Love this company, thanks for sharing! I absolutely love Charleston, and am so fortunate to only live 1hr 15 minutes away. I take full advantage of that too 🙂 I loved al the spaces you showed here. Not sure if yo know why they paint the porch ceilings blue but it's to ward off evil spirits…little fun fact.
