After a crazy weekend of packing, cleaning, moving, more cleaning, and unpacking, this serene bedroom courtesy of Design House of the Hamptons is just what I needed today. Clean, uncluttered…and turquoise! I love the pattern on pattern look here, kept simple with the white coverlet. The linen fabric on the headboard and bedskirt is awesome too. (Mental note…Quadrille Veneto!) I promise you’ll all love the portfolio of Design House, so head here for more beauties!

Love the blue hues of this room! Blue has been a major color inspiration for the design of my spring jewelry line! http://www.laurajamesjewelry.com/
OK…when do we get to see pics of your new home:)
I hope the move went well, I cannot wait to see some pictures of your new place! The white and turquoise combination is just perfect.
This is beautiful, the turquoise lamp, the pillows and the bed skirt, all beautiful, very peaceful…love it! Sharon:)

That headboard is FAB!! Funny, we have those "same shells" shown on the bedside table box in our lake! The grandkiddos love collecting them! A project I think…franki
Oh.. my daughter would love this room! I'll email her the link. Love the simplicy AND the color, of course!
That little shell box on the side table is amazing! I saw one a couple of years ago in a shop and still kick myself for not getting it. Now I can't find one anywhere! Any ideas? x
So cute!
Your home is beautiful! I’m completely with you on not settling for what you don’t really want. As I’m still at the stage in my life where I can’t really afford the furniture I really want, I am working on making the handmedowns/second hand/ikea stuff work. I’ve just finished making slip covers for the sofa & the bed and it instantly made me feel more at home (and getting to use a lovely big print without commitment is awesome).
