Aqua, Yellow and Green…Oh My!

April 29, 2009

I love the colors used in these rooms, captured by photographer James Salomon. I’m still really loving the aqua and yellow combination and find myself wearing them together a lot now. Don’t you LOVE the bedding in the first image? And the curtains and pillows in the last? View more of Jamie’s work at his online portfolio here!

i LOVE that first bedroom… the mix of patterns could be disastrous, but the designer pulled it off to make it chic and so very inviting. Turquoise and yellow is a GREAT color combo!

Very nice! Like the square lampshade in the first picture – and the acorns – lots of nice touches for an already gorgeous space!

Like someone else said, you turned me on to the aqua/yellow combo previously; I just love it! Saw it on an HGTV show the other day, and remembered I’d seen it first here – ha! I love my current white/red/gold bedroom, but if I had a job and money, I’d redo it similar to the first room. Fabulous!
