I love the happy, vibrant colors in this home designed by JLV Creative, an interior and event design firm out of Charleston, South Carolina. The colors in the sunroom particularly spoke to me, as did the gorgeous turquoise chandelier!! Such an inspiring mix of high and low going on, I’m spying some great Ikea, World Market and Target finds here! Love the artwork too! Please tell me I am seeing things, and that is NOT a bare lightbulb hanging within reach of a crib.

Can you tell me where to get the white bench type pieces with the teal covered tops? Look like they lift up for storage? Would love to know….on ikea website now but can't seem to find. Also would love the msmts! Trying to find a piece that would work for a window seat/storage for my teenage daughter's bedroom. Thanks! Anne:)

Thanks so much for featuring our project on your blog! What a wonderful surprise 🙂 As far as the lightbulb fixture, it was simply moved down during the shoot so that we could get it in the frame 🙂 Don't worry, it is not at all a hazard or within baby's reach 🙂 And Anne, hopefully you got my email with information on the custom seating and how you can emulate the look. We had the seating built to fit the space because nothing pre-made worked for our measurements. Also, one fun turquoise DIY: for the turq seating upholstery we purchased canvas painters drop clothes and used turquoise fabric dye by iDye to get the pretty, soft vintage turq look for less 🙂
Thanks again!
