Kim Hoegger HOME – Osage Beach, Missouri

March 19, 2013

I am so ready for summer! This Lake of the Ozarks home in Osage Beach, Missouri designed by Kim D. Hoegger, an interior designer out of Rockwall, Texas, is the epitome of relaxed summer fun! What I love most (other than the beautiful wall colors!) is that the entire home photographed here by Bill Mathews was done with a wallet-friendly budget. In addition to using existing furnishings, Kim stuck to sources like HomeGoods, Home Depot, local antique stores and Round Top Texas. The look is cheerful and comfortable, perfect for fun times and lake-living! To read more about the home, pick up the new summer issue of Cottage Style magazine! And for great design advice, check out Kim’s new e-book and of course her inspiring design blog! Oh and if you’re looking for a fun family vacation, you can even rent out this home–more info (and pics) on that here!

I'd love to know source info for the tableware–knives, spoons, forks–on that bar cart.

I am in love with the food cart that has the plates and whine. The red color also gives the room a pop and makes it look modern without shoving it in your face. Love It!!

Ah the colors are awesome! Thanks for the post Erin.

By the way do you know anything about oriental rugs? I've heard about Rugman.com.. does anyone have any experiences there? 🙂

Susan – The flatware is Ralph Lauren Home, but Kim found it at a local antiques store so she's not sure of it's age. Maybe try ebay!

I love that the kitchen and dining room are not super ultra high end, and that this look is achievable on a budget. The colors are gorgeous, I love the kitchen, and I want to marry that island! Love the "wave" design on the front of it, and the bead board detail and brushed silver bin pulls. The lighting is also wonderful. I like that they kept the rock wall in the entry, it's a really nice feature.
