It may be freezing cold outside, but spring is definitely in the air today! The pretty pastels and lively patterns in these lovely rooms by Alexandria, Virginia interior designer Susan Nelson (photographed by Erik Kvalsvik) are especially invigorating right now! The gorgeous fabrics caught my attention first…love the embroidered Manuel Canovas fabric on the drapes and the chair backs in the dining room and the Vervain fabric on the Roman shade in the kitchen!
