Dream Home Tour – Day Two

December 9, 2014

It’s Day Two of this incredible Highland, Utah dream home tour, courtesy of Titan Constructors, interior designer Lindy Allen of Four Chairs Furniture and Hiya Papaya Photography! This kitchen!! Oh my word, I’ve never in my life seen a kitchen that big. 1,500 square feet folks. Did you see the size of those islands?! There is a reason I’m calling this a “dream” home tour!! The cabinetry here (and throughout the home) was designed and built
by Benjamin Blackwelder Cabinetry…he did an amazing job! I’m really loving all of the details here, especially on the cabinetry, metal hood, flooring and ceiling! Definitely not your cookie-cutter kitchen! Love the casual vibe from the assortment of white chairs and bench around the dining table too!

Tomorrow we’ll head up that beautiful spiral staircase….that spans all four floors. And in case you missed it yesterday, see the family room and craft room here!

If you see something here you love, definitely visit Four Chairs Furniture, or contact Lindy for more info!

So many countertops for my boys to clutter up!!! The amount of space that we have seen so far in this home that could be utilized for baking and crafting is astounding. Can't wait to see the laundry room and mudroom. I am sure there are many more flat surfaces to behold there! 😉 Seriously though, stunning home. I love the bright cheerful colors and the large windows. Can't wait to see more!

While the decor and colors is beautiful the floor plan seems so awkward. It looks like they added to the kitchen just to say it's bigger, not really better.

I was wondering if you remembered about what length those floating shelves are above the kitchen sink! I am trying to do the same thing in my current kitchen remodel, but need to decide if I want it to be 36" or 42" long, which is hard to visualize. I've seen some that are too narrow for my taste, but yours looks aesthetically proportional! Thanks!
