I’ll take a dose of fresh mountain air any day! It surprised me to learn that a pair of aquamarine lamps inspired the color palette of this beautiful mountain home by Atlanta designer John Oetgen. The color is more obvious in the bedroom (painted Palladian Blue) and dining room, but I love how it’s used in the living room as well! Compared to the dark-paneled rooms, I just love how open and airy the bedroom feels…I think that’s where I would spend all my time! That, or the covered porch! You gotta check out more photos by Mali Azima of the rest of the home and the breathtaking view, just head over to Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles!

Great Spread!! The turqoise chairs in the wood room make it so alive!! And the rug is wonderful with it.

He's a very talented designer. I love the porch. I bet the view and the ambiance there would be out of this world. It would be a great experience to dine outside.

Sometimes I fall in love with things you post and am frustrated not being able to find out where to get them. You really are great about telling us but I love that palm pillow in the first photo.

The dining room and great room…WOW. The turqoise really pops against the wood. Looks like a cozy mountain retreat but in refreshing way!
