Billy Beson Company

April 19, 2012

It has long been a dream of mine to live by the water (did I tell you we’re moving, by the water, tomorrow?!?!) so this home designed by Minneapolis’ own Billy Beson and photographed by Susan Gilmore is really calling my name today! Much like yesterday, the home is filled with soothing neutral tones brought to life with beautiful aqua blues. Is that family room not not the best thing ever?! Love all the windows, that striped sectional, floral rug, big fireplace…all just incredibly lovely!! You can tour more of this lakeside home right here!

I’m finally going to unplug and pack up my computer! Keep your fingers crossed everything goes smoothly today and tomorrow! (I’m new to all this buying/selling houses thing!) I have a great guest blogger filling in tomorrow (hint: Rainwashed!), but I’ll see you guys back here next week from our new digs!

Praying for a smooth, no-glitches kind of move for y'all 🙂

I dream of living by the water too. Right now we're renting a house a block from the lake. But we're building a house very close to the river that feeds into the lake. There's one lot and the coastal road (that they just put in) between us and the river. Soooo excited to see the house going up!!! They're pouring the floor today and friends from the U.S. arrive tomorrow to help put up the walls over the next two weeks. Woot!!!

It makes sense that you desire to live by the water – all the colours of the water are yours and seem to flow through your veins.
Congratulations on your new home. May wishes of good health and happiness be yours as you step over the treshold.

Hope everything goes very smoothly for you.

Right now I'm living farther away from the ocean than I have in my entire life. Two blocks. It seems like miles.
