I was super excited last week to discover Phillips deVeer Interiors, the newly formed interior design studio founded by Elena K. Phillips and Cristin G. deVeer located in Rowayton, CT. I just love how their predominantly classic style balances traditional aesthetics with modern twists. The grasscloth (Phillips Jeffries #3441) in the dining room in the last photo….LOVE. And how gorgeous is the bathroom with the Quadrille wallpaper? What’s cool is how they mix high and low though…the zigzag bedding is from Urban Outfitters (it’s been on my “want” list forever!) Photographer James Grout took all these great photos, and there’s even more to see over at their website!

One of my favorite posts. From the sweet glass shelf, lamps and wallpaper in the bathroom, the beautiful fabric on the chair by the bookshelf and finally, the gorgeous blues and orange tablescape. Magnificent eye-candy for me.

GTV Diaries, I just painted my front door using Tropical Turquoise by Benjamin Moore. First tried Wythe Blue, which is lovely but too light for the front door. Tropical Turquoise is a beautiful, deep color.
