It's been awhile since we visited little ol' Tybee Island and checked in with one of my favorite designers–Jane Coslick! Blues Away is one of her most recent projects, a 1950's cottage that received the total Jane Coslick redesign and renovation treatment! So bright and cheery, but relaxing too...really the perfect place to unwind and get away! Love the details in the home like the homeowner's collection of folk art, those cute pearl-wearing zebras, headboard made of old shutters...and all those ... View Post

The Pirates’ House + Giveaway Winners!
Imagine my delight when we happened upon this incredible old building!! Located in downtown Savannah, The Pirates' House is a historic restaurant and tavern established in 1753. (Had we not just eaten a yummy lunch at Paula Deen's restaurant, you can bet I would have stepped inside for a bite!) The historic building is located a block from the Savannah River and was built as an inn for visiting seamen. ... View Post
Guest Blogger: Amanda from Dixie Delights
I'm Amanda from Dixie Delights and I'm *delighted* to slip into Erin's turquoise heels and entertain y'all for a day while she's away!! I mean, hanging out over here is positively one of my favorite ways to spend a morning. Earlier this summer we finished up a porch addition that quickly become our favorite "room" of the lot! We use this space from sun up till waaaaay past sun down - having coffee, dining, playing games, reading, listening to music, cocktailing, entertaining, roasting s'mores ... View Post
Rethink Design Studio
One place I'm dying to go is Tybee Island. To be honest, it's the whimsical beach cottages that I want to see most! This fabulous one designed by Joel and Erika Snayd of Rethink Design Studio out of Savannah, Georgia is totally style! I love how light and bright it is, with a great mix of vintage and modern pieces, and pops of colors layered over all the fresh white canvas. The breezy bedrooms are just so pretty too! I know there's not a ton of turquoise, but a little bit goes a long way! You do ... View Post
Paddles & Paws
Hitting up Tybee Island, Georgia has been on my to-do list ever since I learned of the one and only Jane Coslick. There's just something about every one of her designs....so colorful and friendly, where you can kick-back and relax the day away. I just get the sense the whole island is like that. This cottage is Jane's most recent undertaking, she shared a peek on her blog. Isn't it delightful?! Luckily for us, it will be available to rent by late spring through Mermaid Cottages. Sign me up!! Key Lime Parrot Cottage
Oh how I love Jane Coslick! She just never disappoints, does she? How adorable is this bedroom in the Key Lime Parrot Cottage on Tybee Island. Jane said that when they were done renovating it, there was no room left in the budget for "fun stuff", so she was forced to be more creative. Now it's one of her favorite rooms in the cottage! I can't wait to get to Tybee one day, it looks like such a neat place...a perfect combination of fun energy mixed with an easygoing, restful vibe. Just what I ... View Post
Coastal Gems
It's always a good day when you get to see some work by Jane Coslick! One day I'm going to head to Tybee Island and check out all of these delightful cottages. Did you know that you can rent out one of Jane's very own cottages? 99 Steps from the Beach (first several images above) was actually the first cottage that Jane bought on Tybee. The adorable 625-square-foot oceanfront home can be yours for 2 nights, a week, or an entire season! What a true beach experience, porch hammock and all. (See ... View Post
