With her trademark sophisticated, polished style, Connecticut-based interior designer Eileen Deschapelles transformed these spaces with a perfect balance of crispness and warmth! The serene color palette and cozy textures of the Riverside home (captured by photographer Jane Beiles) come together to create such a calm and comforting environment. And you know I adore the splashes of color–the turquoise hues woven throughout are perfection! I especially love the rug and Peter Dunham fabrics! I have to say too, it makes me so happy to see a tv not above a fireplace. Curling up with my family on a comfy sofa to watch a movie is one of my favorite things to do and I’m thinking this would be the ideal place to do it!
