305 Sea Lane

November 22, 2011

Something’s Gotta Give…West Coast style! Belclaire House featured this incredible beach home located along the La Jolla coastline in California, filled with a yummy blue and white color scheme, fabulous outdoor areas and breathtaking views. The meticulously maintained home was actually built in the 1930’s but has since been beautifully renovated. How insane is that master bedroom?? Those views…I swear I can smell the ocean right now. The master bathroom is exactly what I’d choose for myself, I love all the Carrara marble and soaking tub. Same goes for the outdoor areas, exactly what I want in my dream home! Looks like this 3,858 sq ft home recently sold for the teensy-weensy sum of around $4,000,000, but you can still see the real estate info here! (And to the new owner: let me know when you move in…we can have a party!)

This is just incredible – the master is absolutely perfect – luxe without competing with the real star of the show, which is the view!

Oh, how wonderful it would be to wake up in that bedroom with that view? I mean, whoever lives here is seriously blessed. I love that kitchen with the fabric on the chhairs, just lovely. I love the desks, love the living room…oh, I could go on. If I could stay one night in that house and wake up to that view, I'd be happy, lol.

Hi Erin… I own that home and am actually in the middle of escrow on selling it to the most wonderful family from Boston Mass… My assistant, Colette and I just finished renovating it this past summer and I have to say that once you go through the process of design, its sometimes hard to see the end result as others do… it does look beautiful and I am so happy you posted it so that I can see it for what it is; a beautiful beach home with wonderful bones, and joyous memories from so many families over the years. The home was built in 1938. It whispers "you are home" from the moment you step into it. There is so much more to this property that photos could ever display… but you are so sweet to have posted
it… you have a wonderful blog, keep it up! Big smiles. Michele P.
