If there’s one project on the top of our list, it’s to tile our living room fireplace. There’s not a prettier focal point than glistening, sparkling glass tile all lit up by fire. Oh wait! If the tile is turquoise, then it’s prettier! 😉

Time to announce the lucky winner of the “Birds on a Wire” watercolor giveaway from Laura Trevey! Lucky number 53, who just knew she was going to win:

Susie

Susie, please email me with your address! And with that, I wish you all a great weekend. I’m taking off shortly to go camping up by Lake Superior…it’s looking to be a little chilly up there!

I love the first photo and that fireplace next to the bath tub looks cozy. I'd love to have a soak in that tub in the evening with candles lit, soft music and a nice fire in the fireplace. Enjoy your weekend!

Congratulations, Susie! How awesoem for you!

Loving this post, Erin. One fireplace is prettier than the next, though I must say, pic 7 with the tub makes me wish I was there! The chairs in pics 1 and 11 are to die for! Just lovely spaces, thank you for bringing us the pretties today! — Kimberly

Oh…how I love these fireplaces. Probably because my own fireplace is turquoise or really a seafoamy teal. My friends thought I was crazy when I put it in but I love it and everyone that sees it loves it. Just shows you don't have to do neutral all the time. I do think if I were to do a modern fireplace….I'd do turquoise glass tile.
