Key West Kitchen

August 3, 2010

I was so excited to spot this cheery kitchen photographed by Tria Giovan on MyHomeIdeas. I’m still so obsessed with yellow and turquoise! Can you imagine how blah this room would be if the cabinets weren’t painted that pretty aqua?? I love the open shelves too, what a great way to display that colorful collection of dishware. Cute cute cute!

What a perfect little gem of a kitchen. Love those aqua cabinets! What color does turquoise NOT go with? It's wonderful with everything it seems and especially yellow. And orange.

I've been wanting to go to key west, this is exactly what I would expect to find in a chic little holiday rental. Love the towel hanging on the dishwasher, perfect detail.

Love!!!! That's all I can say when I look at this photo because it is perfection. I want it. I need to convince the boyfriend that this is pretty (he has different ideas about what pretty is but I'll teach him the correct definition) because when I have an ugly old kitchen I am going to want to do something fun and unexpected like this. I can't wait!

This kitchen is gorgeous. So simple and so beautiful. The only thing that kinda turns me off is all that shine on the floor. I thing a matte finish to the wood would be in order. Thank for sharing! Great blog!
