Fresh from Nantucket

March 30, 2010

Dream home alert! This gorgeous Nantucket home was designed by Brooks & Falotico and Lynn Morgan Design, and was featured in Connecticut Cottages and Gardens. Like me, the wife’s favorite color is turquoise, so the color was used liberally throughout the home. We should all be so lucky! And talk about lucky, that Egyptian hand-blown glass chandelier like the one in Sarah Jessica Parker’s Hamptons home. What a stunner!

When I was looking at the pictures of this house, I suddenly thought, "No one can actually live in such a perfect place. It looks like beautiful art, rather than an actual home where people eat, watch tv, entertain, sleep, etc!"
This home is just tourqoise gorgeous! : )

Absolutely beautiful. I love how vibrant the turquoise is. And I love that it was toned down in the master, where I wouldn't want the big shock of color. Gorgeous.

Pefect for Nantucket, but personally almost too sterile for me. Also I think I would tire of it very quickly.

Did I just say that, as I am a lover of blue! 🙂

Hi I'm from Romania! Very nice blog, I especially love this post!
Do you know if there's a term for the bed by the window in the second picture? I'd like to look into some more interior designs with this kind of sofa placed by the window. 10x

I am drooling over this entire house. I love all the blue…almost can't take it! I have to know where the painting above the turquoise lamp came from? The blues in that painting leave me breathless!
