Golden Touch

January 27, 2010

A while back BeachBungalow8 had a post featuring all sort of colorful Chicago condos from an article in Chicago Home & Garden magazine. This one obviously stuck out to me with its bold blue and gold color scheme. The shades of blue are all so heavenly! I especially love how the bed area is raised and separated by the curtains. The tufted headboard is my favorite feature of the room though!

For as much as I look at your blog to drink in all the hues of blues, this one is all about the texture. I want to touch it all and find out which ones surprise me with the way they feel. I believe the chair pillows behind the fringe ones are from Pom Pom and it is so lovely and the back is so soft.

Ooooh – lovely. I do like the headboard, but the gold curtains are really what jump out at me in this room. A great idea to cozy up a larger room.
