Make a Wish Upon a Starfish

July 20, 2009

I thought this image taken by photographer Eric Roth was just too pretty not to share. How fantastic is that mirror?! Seriously how many finger starfish do you think it took to make it?! What a dramatic piece to welcome visitors into the home. I love it!

That is the craziest/coolest thing I've ever seen. That could be someone's DIY project of the year. Gorgeous. Would love to own a beach house just to have that mirror!

Yes! Finally layers of colors that work with Turquoise. The light golden color and the star fish makes this the perfect design.

Love your site but does anyone realize that each one of those starfish is literally a dead carcass? What do they do reduce the stench?

I remember seeing dried starfishes like that in China. They were selling them in big sacks. But I think they were using it as a food, but a mirror idea is much more fun.
