Turquoise and Gold

You may remember a couple weeks ago I discovered the beauty of turquoise paired with gold, at least as far as home decor goes. Turquoise and yellow, we know that’s a favorite of mine…and gold is pretty darn close to yellow, right? So I’m excused. Anyway, apparently I just hadn’t been noticing it, because some of these images I saw when I first started this blog two years ago, some I’ve even blogged about before. I just completely overlooked the gold. I’ve never really liked gold…too gaudy or something for me. Until now. Now I’m a believer.

I was just looking at that first pic the other night thinking about how I loved the pairing of the wall color with the couch. Great picks, as always!

Oh, that last office space is to die for! I love that wall paper and the light shade of aqua. The zebra skin rug isn't so much my taste, but all together like that it's really beautiful!

That first room is a real treat! Lovely collected feel – I'm jealous over that Louis Phillipe mirror! And the wall color – it's a close cousin my dining room color (Martha's Pickled Okra). I would feel right at home in that room!

I really love the photos and I must say that they are showing great designs of home areas. I love how the colors played well with each other, and turquoise being there gives the relaxing and comfortable ambiance to the environment even if I'm just looking at them through pictures. This post will absolutely give great and literally bright ideas to the readers.
