Ethereal in Miami

August 4, 2009

This Miami Beach penthouse designed by Jennifer Post isn’t exactly the shabby chic sort of beach house you’re used to seeing on here, but I couldn’t help but share it. LOOK at that VIEW!! I’d save my red wine for the bathtub just to be able to look out at that every day. (See that bathroom…holy moly look at all those showerheads!) See more images and learn all about this stunner over at Architectural Digest. And if you’re loving all the clean-lines and white-filled spaces, check out Jennifer Post’s portfolio. There’s lots more eye-candy there!

Yesterday I decided to jump on the Twitter bandwagon! Click on the link below to follow me…I’d be delighted to follow any of you that happen to be there already! 🙂

This is Jennifer Post at her best! Wowee fabuloso! Just my mere presence would clutter up the scene. Plenty of shower heads indeed …

Hi! I have a link that I would love to share with you (about an aqua desk!) but I'm not able to email you without setting up an outlook express account. So I thought I would post the link here. It's to a desk I painted awhile back: http://katyoh.blogspot.com/2008/11/photographing-furniture.html

WOW that is a stunning view! I cannot believe the water is that blue! The whole penthouse compliments the water color so wonderfully. I also lovee the kitchen with the chandeliers and the enormous bathroom…that shower is amazing! I would LOVE to wake up to that view everyday!

Thanks for sharing, I will have to check out more of Jennifer Post's designs!

You would have to have a 'perfect body' and an incredible pair of sunglasses to live here…

This penthouse is amazing! I wonder which building is this? Oh, well since I can't have that bathroom I'm happy to have that view from my office.

Oh wow, that view! I love how they've just used little hints of the ocean colour to highlight the view and left the room almost bare so the view takes centre stage. That's what you should do with a location like that. Why interfere with nature.

What Jennifer said (about echoing, not competing with, nature)! So crisp and cool! For real-life living, I'd need more warmth in the interior, but as far as design, this is a stunner. And that water! Reminds me of Mexico.

I could live here in a second. It makes me want to sell everything I have and do every room like this…except I don't have the view.

This house is stunning!!!!!!!! It reminds me of Cher's home on the ocean. Of all of the homes I have ever seen, her's stands out in my mind because it had an ocean view from every room. This one though, the use of color is just perfect.

Love your blog. This is the first blog I look at in my feed list.
